The solo musical expressions of Adela Mede and Adam Badí Donoval are a significant part of the Slovak and international experimental scene despite, or perhaps because of, their subtlety. However, their joint performances are rare, and the concert at the n:ear will be only their third together. Adela's album Ne Lépj a Virágra (2023) was nominated for the Radio_Head Awards in the categories Album of the Year and Experimental Music. She sings in Hungarian, Slovak and English, adding a different intonation or harmony to each language, using her voice as an equal musical instrument. Adam's debut album Sometimes Life is Hard And So We Should Help Each (2022) is a guide through subtle soundscapes with lots of detail and subdued atmosphere. In May 2025, his new album A Mirror Where The Image And The Mirror Wholly Coincided was released, which reverberates landscapes of memory and expectation. At n:ear they will perform a semi-improvised set featuring field recordings, bass guitar and vocals alongside samples from their records.
